We're challenging ourselves to help ease the challenges of others.

In November, our team laced up their running shoes and set out on a 62km relay as part of the "What's Your Kilimanjaro” (WYK) challenge to raise money for our charity partner Forever Projects.

The WYK challenge, inspired by the iconic climb to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, encourages people to set and achieve personal goals while also supporting a worthy cause.

"Taking part in the 'What's Your Kilimanjaro’ challenge was a fun experience and a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those living in poverty in Tanzania," said Todd, Connected team member. "It was such a positive day – we had a great sense of accomplishment and purpose as we ran those 62km as a team, and knowing that our efforts were supporting such a worthy cause made it all the more meaningful."

As we ran along the beautiful Illawarra coastline, we were fuelled by the knowledge that our efforts would help make a difference in the lives of those supported by Forever Projects. The organization works to improve the lives of children and families living in poverty in Tanzania, and 100% the funds raised by our WYK team will go towards providing education, healthcare, and other vital resources to those in need.

"I am proud of the dedication and determination shown by our team as they took on the 'What's Your Kilimanjaro’ challenge and ran 62km to raise money for Forever Projects," said Laura Hamod Barnes, Connected CEO. "I am grateful to be part of a team that understands the importance of giving back to our local and international community."

It's not too late to sponsor the Connected team! Or… join us for another WYK challenge in 2023?
